The client is a Houston based Software Company and has been in the business of developing powerful software since 1993. Incorporated in 1997, for the explicit purpose of providing Process Optimization Tools to businesses, the company is committed to enabling success for its customers by creating operating efficiencies and providing real-time views into customer-centric activities.
The client wanted to migrate the existing version of the application -- mainly the Sales Force Automation developed using the client server architecture (VB, Access) to a browser-based application using .NET. Thus, the scope of the project included:
- The study of the existing product and capturing of business requirements in a modeling language.
- The migration of the functionality on one-to-one basis to .NET framework. Migration from Client Server to Web based Application.
