PBSI’s .NETigration Technology
PBSI’s proprietary modernization technology enables AS/400-iSeries customers to protect the significant investment that they have made in their software and staff, while migrating their legacy software to Microsoft’s .NET platform.
Our technology is built to identify patterns in the AS/400 software at the lowest technical level. These patterns are translated into PBSI’s proprietary intermediate language (IL), which facilitates the translation into modern C# or VB.NET. PBSI’s .NETigrationTM technology enables IBM AS/400 customers to duplicate proven and powerful RPG applications, deploy a new and improved User Interface (UI), and protect their investment in business rules and technical staff while retaining the integrity of their existing software. Once migrated, the new applications can be maintained by any .NET certified developer and requires no proprietary, niche products or compilers to run.
PBSI’s .NETigrationTM product is automated, predictable and streamlined. It is 70-90% less expensive than replace or rewrite alternatives. It supports a variety of deployment options, such as web or Windows, C# or VB.NET and DB2 or SQL Server databases. Using an automated product to duplicate existing functionality minimizes the cost, risk and disruption of re-platforming legacy applications.
