February 10, 2016, HOUSTON–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–Houston-based FyrSoft LLC, the premier US Microsoft Managed Partner for Cloud with Azure, Hyper-V and System Center, plus Windows 10 Deployment and Device Management, has added a Windows certified application to the company’s portfolio, with the System Center WebTop app. The commercially developed app is now formally certified for Windows Server 2012 R2.
WebTop is an easy-to-use extensible solution designed for any business looking to unify information across System Center and other data sources for user friendly mobile and web solutions for dashboards, data analysis, and operational tasks. The System Center WebTop solution provides a platform to centralize data across disparate management tools and data sources into an easy-to-use mobile web portal. WebTop includes standard data providers that connect to remote systems for information, a library of charts and gauges to display the information, predefined dashboards, and an extensible framework for customizing and building your own dashboards.
The most recent WebTop 3.6 release fully supports HTML5 for a more responsive user experience. In addition to full support for Silverlight, the HTML5 version works either in parallel with Silverlight controls or completely replaces the functionality of it to provide the most versatile WebTop version for both scale and speed ever released. Additional features included in the 3.6 version include: tile layout menu system, logging built into administration portal, and support for variables to pipeline into PowerShell Scripts and SQL queries.
“It’s great to add the Windows Server 2012 R2 certification to the WebTop solution,” said Doug Kohn, VP of Business Development at FyrSoft. “FyrSoft is a recognizable force in the Microsoft Infrastructure and Cloud space, but something we don’t widely advertise is our Application Development practice.”
The formal certification of WebTop leads the way for FyrSoft’s application development practice. The company has already achieved Silver Application Development competency status in the Microsoft Partner Network, and expects to achieve Gold in the coming weeks.
“This certification demonstrates that FyrSoft is not only a Cloud and Infrastructure practice but expanding into development of both commercial and custom develop applications for our customers,” said Ryan Brennan, Managing Partner at FyrSoft. “Earning this certification validates our capability, and as a Microsoft Gold Partner, we’re happy to have Microsoft’s stamp of approval.”
